In my mind, NDs are the original integrative physicians! We are the only clinicians trained in primary care natural medicine at accredited, four-year, post-graduate medical institutions. Our education blends the conventional medical sciences with the traditional healing arts including nutrition, supplements, herbal medicine and homeopathy. In addition, we are the only doctors taught to use bio-identical hormones as part of our medical training. It is this unique preparation that enables NDs to provide a truly comprehensive, individualized and integrated approach to healthcare.

Why have you chosen to specialize in Women’s Health and Compassionate Gynecology?
I actually treat men, women and children, but I have always had an affinity for Women's Health. I think part of it is that I am good at making people feel safe enough to talk about difficult things. Like many women, I love to create relationship. The average doctor's visit is not long enough to do that. I actually LIKE to listen and get to know each patient as a person. Compassionate GYN is a natural extension of that approach. I take great pride in providing GYN exams for teens and adults that are educational, comfortable and actually pleasant.
